Adonis Golden Ratio is a program that helps you burn fat and at the same time build muscle. The program was designed by John Barban who is a fitness expert. Through his studies, Barban was able to transform his pear shaped body to an Adomis athletic body with very low body fat and lean muscles.
What is the Adonis Golden Ratio?
You are probably wondering what is the Adonis golden ratio, right? Well, this is the proportion between the shoulder and waist measurements.
To design the program, John came to the conclusion that the most important thing that determines a man’s physique is the ratio between the shoulders and the waist and he designed this program that enables you to have more muscle in the shoulders.
How the Program Works
Before you enroll in the program, you have to take your waist and shoulder measurements. Once you have taken the measurements, you have the option of either losing fat only (if you have adequate muscle mass), or build muscle only (if you need more muscles). You can also decide to lose fat and build muscle.
When you take the measurements, you put them in the Adonis golden ratio nutrition software. In addition to including your shoulder and waist measurements, you also need to include your weight, height and age. The purpose of the software is to tell you the calories that you need to take for you to have ideal results.
The program lasts for 12 weeks and you need to engage in a number of workouts that depend on what you want to achieve. For example, the workouts differ on whether you want to lose fat or build muscle. If you want to lose fat only, you need to engage in circuit training for 3-4 times in a week.
Since a community is important in any weight loss program, this program allows you free access to the AGR online community. Here you can give and receive encouragement and suggestions on how one can benefit the most from it.
Pros of the Program
There are a number of advantages that come with the program. One advantage is that the program is very thorough. Since it contains video coaching, online community, software calculators, and informational manuals, it tends to be very thorough as you get any information that you need.
In case you are stuck and you need some of your questions answered, you only need to turn to the community center and you get all the answers that you need.
In addition to being thorough, the program works for almost all body types. According to the author, the program works perfectly on you whether you have a fat, slim, or muscular body. This is good since it gives everyone an equal opportunity to get the results that you need.
Cons of the Program
Although, the program is great, it has its fair share of negatives. One disadvantage is that the exercises can be difficult to execute especially if you are planning to begin the process from scratch. For you to have ideal results you need to be dedicated and persevere through the program.
I think the best part about this program is the social community where participants are free to give and receive encouragement and suggestions. That is a great idea and can be very helpful.
This sounds like a good program to test out and I will do so in the near futre after i have finished cycling through my present program What attracts me here is the software that is included. This should eliminate the problem many people who are starting have of trying to determine what they should be aiming for. I also like the fact that different workouts are include for the different goals you may have since on size does not fit all.
Thank you for the review. Having a clear defined standard in your fitness goal is very important and this program gives exactly that.
I think most of the guys who start getting into fitness have an aesthetic goal in mind like ” Get a great body, six pack abs and of course become more healthy” which is perfectly fine. But a lot of them get lost in the process and forget their original goal which is to have an aesthetic body. This is the case when you see guys that look like mutants with their super bulky sizes or runners who have emaciated themselves with too much cardio.
