I haven’t actuall seen this videos and trainers before. Good to know that they are actually the top with video exercises. I personally use Jillian’s Micheals 30 days shred and have been stuck long ago with the level 1. Anyway, the covers also seems to be old, but I think that only makes them more effective since people uses them up to now.
I want to try some of these videos because they incorporate some great things. First, some of them include pretty short videos so I can exercise in my busy schedule and right from home. I also like how they target many different muscle groups and exercises. This makes getting a full body workout easy and teaches many new exercises.
Thanks for the list. I have to agree, Cathe videos are some of the best exercise videos available. The videos are professionally produced and high quality. The workouts are superb – they each have on objective and are well thought out and choreographed to meet the stated objective. She has a sunny, positive personality and she makes the workouts fun. She has over 200 videos available, so there really is something for everyone. If you’re new to videos, her website is the place to start.
I have used Billy Banks Taebo in the past and can truly say it is a very good workout, you will surely sweat. I have also watched Denise Austin on tv years ago and was always impressed with her approach to working out. The rest I am sure are good and will require commitment from anyone who decides to use them. Please remember to eat healthy foods when using a workout.
Great list of fitness industry legends. I have used Taebo for cardio, the Firm and absolutely loved Tammy Lee Web’s “Arms and Ab’s of Steel” workout in high school. So I’m a long time fitness video junky. I will definitely find Cathe Friedrich’s videos. The cover sells me instantly! I currently use Jackie Warner’s Xtreme Timesaver Training which can be done with or without weights.
I also like how you covered different types of workouts in your video selections. I feel some people enjoy cardio type videos like Zumba and Step Aerobics while others enjoy a lower intensity lifting type routine.
